The wait is over! The Gunnison Farmers Market begins our 2015 season tomorrow, June 20th!
The market is located at the corner of Main and Virginia Streets in downtown Gunnison and runs from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Our entertainment will be provided by the lovely Ms Bonnie Jeanne . . . vocal songbird and ukulele genius. The FREE activity at our kids booth will be a Market Scavenger Hunt.
The Gunnison Farmers Market features produce, crafts, concessions, baked goods and jewelry, as well as local meats, cheese and eggs. Spend a few minutes or a few hours, there’s truly something for everyone at our market!
Hope to see you tomorrow!

Colorado’s Cottage Food Law allows individuals to sell certain kinds of non-potentially hazardous foods at farmers markets that have been produced in unlicensed home kitchens.
Cottage Food products include such items as spices, teas, dehydrated produce, nuts, seeds, honey, candies, jams, jellies and certain types of baked goods.
While not required to obtain a Retail Food License to become a Cottage Food producer, interested individuals ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND a food safety course to ensure proper preparation, handling and storage of food items.
Our local CSU Extension Office has 2 such training opportunities scheduled in June!
Check out our Cottage Food page or the CSU Extension website for more information and to register for one of the trainings!
